Project Management.
The successful completion of any project is dependant upon time, budget and quality of product. Successful project management recognises these constraints from the beginning to the end of a project.
Project management of a development begins long before any physical work is carried out on-site. Tasks that Techton can assist with are:
- Market feasibility studies
- Advice on building design, layout and the best commercial mix
- Obtaining the required regulatory approvals
- Preparation of construction drawings (this typically involves liaising with architects, engineers and other consultants as required);
- Managing the tendering process from contract documentation through to selection of builders and then cost analysis of tenders;
- Managing the building contract and providing construction management services through to project completion;
- Managing any issues that arise during the Defect Liability period with the builder
We currently have a Project Management/Contract Administration contract in place with the New South Wales Department of Housing (through Resitech) and also have the New South Wales Roads and Traffic Authority as a client.
